Design and Implementation of a Remote Monitoring System Using Mini Computer

    Abstract

This paper presents a wireless sensing technology using Zigbee communication cell for the monitoring of some physical quantities such as temperature, humidity, current, voltage. The aim of this study is to collect the measurements of the above quantities in unsafe locations. In this project eight communications circuits (zigbees), different sensors and transducers, Liquid Crystal Displays, and a Beagle Bone Black and arduino controller are used. The features of this design are low cost, low power consumption, easy to be used, the obtained results are accurate and the monitoring range of distance can be increased by choosing the type of zigbee cells. The Arduino controller, and beagle Bone black (B.B.B) minicomputer used.

Monitoring and Patient Tracking Over a Wireless Network.

    Proposed System

The aim of this project is to design a remote monitoring system to indicate the measurements of the temperature, humidity, voltage, and current remotely. The designed monitoring system was divided into four parts. The (fist, second, third, and fourth) are responsible for the data transferring for the (temperature, humidity, voltage, and the current) remotely for a long distance. The cost of the implemented system is low, low power consumption, easily operable, is less dangerous than the wire systems because wires are not used in wireless system, since the data transferred by Zigbee has security hence the designed system will be secure.
