    Automatic Guided Vehicle

    Abstract

Industrial robots are beginning now to revolutionize industry. Robots are particularly useful in a wide variety of application such as material handling, inspection and assembly. In this project automatic guided vehicle is developed. The Robot can move freely without dash on any obstacles since it uses artificial intelligence. They can be used in industrial applications to move materials around a manufacturing facility or warehouse. It has an in-built transmitter and receiver on the front side. The transmitter transmits signals and simultaneously the receiver receives the transmitted signal. If the waves return very fast, it means that there is an obstacle in front of the Robot. If so, it automatically moves left or right and again senses the reflected signal. The micro controller controls all the operations of the Robot. The micro controller program is written in assembly language.
