    RADAR- Obstacle Finder


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to find out the obstacles by using radar technique. Ultrasonic sound produced by the ultrasonic transmitter is transmitted along a particular direction. The sound travels and falls on the obstacles and reflected back. In ultrasonic receiver, the reflected ultrasonic sound can be received through the receiver. The output of ultrasonic receiver will be sent to the microcontroller. The microcontroller calculates the time taken between the transmission and the reception. Thus distance can be calculated. That is Distance=Velocity X Time taken. The distance is displaced using a display. Thus the information about the nearby obstacle will be displayed in the LCD display.
