RFID Based Intelligent Vehicle Speed Controller in School Zone

    Abstract

Nowadays the drivers drive vehicles at high speed even in speed limited areas without considering the safety of the public. The traffic police are not able to control them with full effect. Also it is not practical to monitor these areas throughout. This project is developed for the users to control the speed of the vehicle when it crosses schools. Near the schools, a RF ID is connected. A RF ID sensor is connected in the vehicle. When the vehicle crosses the school zone, the RFID sensor sense and sends the signal to the microcontroller through buffer. The microcontroller generates the control signal. The microcontroller immediately controls the driver section to control the speed of the motor. Therefore, when the vehicle crosses the school, the speed of the vehicle will be automatically decreased. This will prevent unnecessary accidents. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
