    Implementation Of IR Technology In No Parking Identification Area


    Abstract

    This project is developed avoid unwanted parking in No parking areas. The main part of the Unit is IR Transmitter and IR receiver, Microcontroller unit, and display unit. Each No parking area has IR sensor. The sensor gets connected microcontroller and alarm system. When the vehicle enters, the sensing unit automatically senses the vehicle and it automatically analyses the for certain moment of time even after the vehicle present in the slot for more than certain seconds allotted the alarm present in the microcontroller get waked up and it start producing alarm sound. Also till vehicle exits from the No parking area, the sensor senses the vehicle and the microcontroller stores produces alarm. Alert message also gets displayed in the LCD display so that the user can easily identify. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC 16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
