Writing Robot Using Voice Recognition

Abstract

The theme of Social interaction and intelligence is important and interesting to an Artificial intelligence and Robotics community. It is one of the challenging areas in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). Speech recognition technology is a great aid to admit the challenge and it is a prominent technology for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) for the future. In this project voice recognition based writing robot is introduced. Voice recognition module is used to recognize the letter which is spelled by the person. Photo sensor is used to identify the location where to start to write the letter. Voice recognition module output and photo sensor output are given as the input the controller. According to these signals controller generates the control signal and it is given to the driver. Driver sends the signal to robotic vehicle left/right motors. The pen is placed at the front of the robotic vehicle. Thus the recognized letter will be written with the help of robotic motors.
