Design And Sensible Realization Of Internet-Based Predictive Control Of A Servo System

    Abstract

This project is developed for speed monitoring and control of a remote car through Internet. It consists of a microcontroller unit. The embedded controller is the CPU that decides the operation of the unit. The embedded controller used here is PIC16F73 microcontroller. Since the controller has the inbuilt peripherals it is called as embedded controller. The wireless car is controlled by a server. The status of the car is watched by the server through microcontroller unit. According to the status of the car, the sensor sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller sends corresponding signal to the PC through serial port. The software in the PC is developed for receiving the data and displaying the status. The user can view the status and also control the movement of the car in online manner. When the user presses the specific button in the remote PC, the software sends corresponding signal through the Internet. The microcontroller receives the signal through USART and controls the operation of the Car. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
