    ELECTRIC POWER FROM ROLLING GATE


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to produce Electricity from Rolling gate. When People pass through the rolling gate, each and every time the rolling gate will be rotating 45 degree. Thus after four persons cross the gate, the gate completes one complete rotation. This concept is applied in this project. A fly wheel is connected with the axis of the gate. The fly wheel drives another small wheel (driven) through belt drive. The shaft of the Generator is connected with the driver wheel. Thus when the gate is rotated, accordingly the coil will be rotating inside the magnet. According to Faraday’s law, “As long as there is a change in magnetic flux linked with the coil, an emf is induced.” So, In each and every movement, electricity is generated. Thus there is an alternate flow of electricity. This electricity is stored in a battery and can be used as a power source in the park.
