    FABRICATION OF PNEUMATIC FORGING MACHINE


    Abstract

    This project is fabricated for the purpose of hammering. Hammering is very important part of lathe and industrial work. It requires special operator for frequent hammering and sometimes they will get tired. In this project, pneumatic forging machine is introduced to do the task. It consists of cylinder, piston, air tank, solenoid valve, hammer etc. The air tank is connected with compressor through a NR. The cylinder is connected with the air tank through a solenoid valve. The hammer is fixed at the end of the piston. The cylinder and piston are connected perpendicular to the plane. There is a control button for activating the solenoid valve. When the button is pressed, the solenoid valve gets activated and the air will rush to the cylinder. Therefore the hammer will move down. If the press button is released, the solenoid valve gets deactivated and therefore the valve is closed. By this way, we can easily operate the hammer in continuous manner.
