    HYBRID MACHINE USING LOCOMOTIVE MECHANISM


    Abstract

    Double crank locomotive mechanism is used to transmit rotation from one wheel into another wheel. Normally this mechanism is used to couple two shafts. The speed of the driven shaft will be as same as the driver shaft. A cutting machine and drilling machine can be simultaneously operated using this mechanism. Two wheels are fixed using bearing. The two wheels are connected using double crank locomotive mechanism. A drilling machine is connected with one wheel and a cutting wheel and motor are connected with the other wheel. Now when the motor is switched on, both wheels are rotated in the same direction. The drilling machine and cutting machine are operated simultaneously. Thus it reduces man power.
