DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF HYBRID VEHICLE

    Abstract

Due to scarcity of fossil fuel in future and its detrimental effect on the environment, an alternative energy has to be discovered. The cost of fuel is also increased day by day. Thus the rate of transporting is also increased ultimately. Now we are in a position to reduce the usage of fuels in vehicles. As the population increases day by day the demand of energy sources also increasing and due to use of nonrenewable energy sources pollution is also increasing. The availability of them is also limited. So, we need to find alternative sources which can fulfil the requirement of increasing demand i.e. solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, and nuclear. The wind is a source of free energy which has been used since ancient times in windmills for pumping water, grinding flour and electricity generation. Wind power is clean and sustainable natural resources that has yet to be fully utilized in the automotive industry. Also the sun is probably the most important source of renewable energy available today. The hybrid system has been designed and installed to generate power which combines wind turbine and solar panel. The hybrid model system is renewable energy system, which helps conserve energy by reducing the use of fuel in vehicle. Hence developing a new method for the economical evaluation of Hybrid Systems for electricity production.
