    FABRICATION OF HOME APPLIANCE TURBINE


    Abstract

    The project entitled Home appliance turbine is used to generate electric power from compressed air. The main parts in this project are Air tank, Rotating blades, Gear and wheel setup, Coil and permanent magnet. The compressed air strikes the vanes with high pressure. So the vanes in the turbine are rotated with constant speed. The gear setup can be adjusted to control the speed of the fly wheel. A magnet is connected with the gear. The magnet will be rotated when the fly wheel is rotated. The coil is fixed around the magnet. When the fly wheel is rotated, the driver gear is rotated by one cycle and there by the driver gear is rotated 50 times. According to Faraday’s law, “As long as there is a change in magnetic flux linked with the coil, an emf is induced.” So, in each and every rotation, electricity is generated. Thus there is an alternate flow of electricity. Since this uses no fuel, this is very cheap and best.
