    AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC JACK


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to fabricate an Automatic Hydraulic Jack. It mainly consists of Hydraulic Jack, Motor, keypad, microcontroller unit etc. The motor is connected with the hydraulic Jack with reciprocating rod. When the motor is switched on, the fly wheel operates the lever of the hydraulic jack. The motor is operated by a microcontroller module with keypad unit. The operator can set the operation time for the jack up and down. According to the time duration of the rotation of the motor, the hydraulic jack will move up and down. The user settings are displayed in the LCD display. When the users press the ok button, the motor starts running and thus it operates the hydraulic jack. When the time is over, the motor stops rotating and thus the Jack will be stopped. A gear motor is connected with the oil release control of the cylinder. As soon as the motor stops rotating, the gear motor rotates the oil release control to release the oil from the cylinder. At the same time, a restoring spring pulls the table downwards. Thus the jack will move downward. Then after sometime, the same gear motor will be operated in reverse manner to close the oil release control.
