    FINGER PRINT BASED ON SHUTTER OPERATION


    Abstract

    Normally shutters are opened manually using lock and key arrangement. But now a day, thieves used to open the locks or make duplicate key to open the shutter. In this project, we propose a useful idea for opening the shutter using finger print. It consists of Finger print module, up/down button, Microcontroller unit, driver, gear motor, gear arrangements, shutter setup etc. The gear motor is connected with the gear mechanism. The gear mechanism is connected with the shutter setup. The user has to place his finger on the finger print module. If he is authorized user, the sensor sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller operates the driver to operate the gear motor. Thus the shutter can be opened in easy manner. The same setup is used to close the shutter.
