FABRICATION OF FOUR WHEEL STEERING SYSTEM

Abstract

Normally, four wheelers have front wheel steering system. But some vehicles have four wheel steering system. This four wheel steering system is mainly used in hills and race cars. In this project, we propose a new idea for four wheel steering system in easy manner. It consists of a chain, chain sprockets, bearings, wheels and steering etc. All the wheels are interconnected with chain drive mechanism through chain sprockets so that when one wheel is driven, all the other wheels are driven with the same direction. This chain drive mechanism is attached with the steering through another sprocket. Thus When the steering is rotated, all the wheels are rotated simultaneously.
