    DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SOLAR CAR LIFT JACK


    Abstract

    Normally Screw Jack is used to lift the vehicle up. It needs man power to operate it. But in some critical areas, we cannot operate the Jack because there is not enough area to operate the handle. This project is developed for the users to control the operation of a Screw Jack using solar power. It mainly consists of a Screw Jack, Gear Motor, Motor, Solar panel etc. The solar panel converts solar energy into electric energy. The electric energy is stored in the battery. The Gear motor is connected with the threaded rod of the scissor jack so that when the motor is operated in one direction, the threaded rod is rotated and thus operates the jack up or down. The controlling section controls the driver section for the forward and reverse operation of the Jack motor. Thus the Jack the screw jack will move up or down.
