Secure Fine Payment For Traffic Violation

Abstract

Secure fine payment for traffic violation app is used to provide a secured way for the transaction of traffic violation fine amount to the government. This app is designed by the admin (i.e., Government) to avoid the corruption done by the traffic police. Every traffic police are instructed to install the secure fine payment for traffic violation app in their mobile by the admin. When the public violate the traffic rules such as one way or travelling in no entry, without license or expired license, without helmet, RC book and expired insurance then fine amount will be collected by the traffic police. Fine amount for traffic rule violation is fixed by the government. Based on the type of traffic violation the fine amount varies. When a vehicle is caught by the traffic police for the violation of traffic rules during the checking process. The traffic police enter the vehicle number and ticks the type of violation in the app (e.g., not wearing helmet, expired license etc.). When the vehicle number is entered, this app takes the vehicle owner details including the bank details from the government database and checks the expiry of the insurance and the license. After the entry done by the traffic police, based on the type of traffic rule violation the fine amount is calculated automatically by the app itself. Then the fine amount will be transferred from the vehicle owner’s account to the e-government account automatically. The e-government account details are also stored in the app. After the money transfer a notification message will be send to the vehicle owner. If the required fine amount is not available in the vehicle owner’s bank account, then the money can be transferred from the vehicle owner’s account to the e-government account at any time. That is when the vehicle owner’s account is credited with the money, the penalty amount will be automatically transferred to the e-government

Existing System

In early days the traffic penalty is manual. Next exactingly they have improved the secure traffic application that can sense the vehicle which violates the traffic rules, by using this application they directly file the case towards the owner of the vehicle who are not obeying the traffic police and violates the rules.

Proposed System

In proposed system, the admin gives the app to the authorized traffic police. This application is only belonging to traffic police. The traffic violation rules and fine payment is predefined by the government. The traffic violations like No entry, Red entry violation, without helmet, without license, without RC book, over speed and expiration of license, RC book, insurance. The fine amount of each violation is fixed according to each rule. The vehicle details are entered and stored in the database. Vehicle details line type of vehicle, vehicle number. Vehicle owner details like name, account number, bank name and branch, and address. The traffic police enter the vehicle number in the app; it will show the traffic violation rules. When the traffic police select the violation option, it will display the fine amount. If the person violates the rules, the fine amount taken from the vehicle owner account to government account. This system will help to achieve the penalty amount successfully send to government account.
