    Mobile Application For Grievance Redressal


    Abstract

    Mobile application for grievance redressal helps the public to register their complaint details to the municipal corporation in an easier manner. The public user can download this app in their mobile phones. Before registering their complaint details, the user needs to register their personal details such as name, address, contact number etc., in the app. After registering their personal details, they can file their complaint to the municipal corporation about the grievances (irregular water supply, damaged road, improper street lighting, etc.,) they are facing in their location through this app. Once the complaint is registered a confirmation message will be send to the user’s mobile number. The complaint details will be viewed by the admin. The admin will take necessary actions over the complaint and will update the current status in the app. The users can view the status about their complaint through this app. Through this app the users can give their feedback comments about the municipal corporation services.


    Existing System

    In the existing system all the process are done in a manual way. If a user need to file their grievances they are facing in their location to the municipal corporation, then the user need to write their complaint in a letter format. After writing the letter they need to go the municipality office and they need to put their complaint letter in the grievances box. After viewing the complaint letter the corresponding authorities will take action based on their complaint.


    Proposed System

    The Mobile Application for Grievance Redressal system allows the user to register their complaint in an easier way. Motivation behind this project is to save the time of the user ie., the time taken by the user to go to the Municipality office for registering any type of complaint. Using this application, User can file their complaint within a minute with the help of android phone. Using this app the users can file their complaint without going to the municipality office. User needs to register their personal details in the app. After registering they can file their grievances (such as irregular water supply, damaged road etc.,) they are facing in their location to the municipal authorities without going to the municipality office. Once the complaint is filed a confirmation message will be send to the user mobile. The admin views the complaint details and take necessary actions over the complaint. The user can also give feedback comment about the municipal corporation services.
